The baseball season has just begun, and Wiregrass Ranch’s Zack Drury has already put up one of the best performances we will likely see this season.
The junior pitcher threw a 92-pitch no-hitter Tuesday night in the Bulls’ 4-0 win over Sunlake. He struck out 16 of the 21 batters he faced and walked only two.
Drury also racked up 11 strikeouts in four innings in a preseason win over IMG Academy.
Last spring, Drury posted a 2.35 ERA with 48 strikeouts in 47.2 innings as a sophomore.
