Jefferson senior defensive back Tanelious Walton has signed with Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania, according to Dragons coach Jeremy Earle.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound Walton had 37 tackles, one sack and one pass defended as one of the anchors for the Dragons’ defense last fall.
Seton Hill, a Catholic liberal arts school of about 2,500 students near Pittsburgh, competes in NCAA Division II. The Griffins will join the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference next fall.
The Griffins currently have five players from Florida on their roster, none from the bay area.
