Lakewood’s Isaiah Wynn has quick hands and nimble feet and he used them to master a battery of drills to win MVP honors among offensive linemen at Sunday’s Rivals camp in Atlanta, Ga.

“I had a feeling I might be named MVP,” Wynn said. “I did well in all my drills, and the coaches there seemed impressed with what I was able to do.”

It was a productive weekend for Wynn, a 6-foot-2, 272-pound junior. He used the trip to attend the spring game at Georgia, where he picked up an offer from the Bulldogs. It was Wynn’s 19th offer overall and seventh by an SEC school.

And there could be more.

This weekend Wynn and Jesuit’s Vincent Jackson Jr., will take a recruiting trip to Alabama. Though he doesn’t have an offer from the Tide, Wynn anticipates getting one, especially after he said he received an email Sunday from offensive line coach Mario Cristobal.

“(Cristobal) said Alabama would be a good fit for me,” Wynn said.

One SEC school that has not showed much interest in Wynn is Florida.

“That’s okay because I’ve never really been a big fan of Florida growing up,” Wynn said. “I attended the Friday Nights Light camp there last year, and I don't think the school would be a good fit for me. I really don’t want to stay in the state to play college football. I want to get out and experience something else.”
