Indian Rocks Christian 6-foot-3 senior center Rachel Boyette has committed to Amherst College in Amherst, Mass., according to her AAU coach Jim Appelt.
Boyette scored more than 1,000 points in her career at Indian Rocks Christian. She chose Amherst over Brown, Hamilton and Brandeis College.
Amherst College was 30-3 last season as a member of the New England Small College Athletic Conference.
