Jesuit's Isaiah Omoregie, a 6-foot-7-220-pound rising senior, said he has picked up an offer from Division I-A Drexel, his first.
Omoregie was a key contributor this season off the bench for the Tigers, who went 31-1 and won the Class 5A state championship. He averaged 6.9 points and three rebounds while shooting 54 percent from the field for the senior-laden Tigers. He is the team's top returning scorer.
Omoregie scored 16 in the Tigers second-round playoff win over Gibbs, and added 12 in the state championship victory over Plantation American Heritage, shooting a combined 12-for-15 in the two games.
Drexel, located in Philadelphia, is coming off a 13-18 season, but was 29-7 the year before and played in the NIT.
