College offers continue to fly in for Nature Coast DE Rohan Blackwood.
West Virginia gave the Sharks junior his first Big 12 offer, assistant coach Rob Kazmier announced Wednesday afternoon.
Blackwood also holds offers from USF, Wisconsin, Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Toledo and UMass.
The 6-foot-5, 208-pound Blackwood is one of Tampa Bay’s top multi-sport stars. He was once regarded as one of his class’ top 100 basketball prospects, but he’s landed a half dozen football offers since the end of his junior season.
Blackwood earned first-team all-North Suncoast honors in football after racking up 15 sacks, 69 tackles and a fumble recovery during his team’s 6-4 season.
He also earned all-North Suncoast honors in basketball, leading the Sharks in scoring (15.4 ppg) and rebounding (11.0 rpg) in their trip to the Class 5A region semifinals.
Michigan and Florida have also expressed interest in Blackwood.
