Hernando 1B/C Brooks Timmons has orally committed to South Georgia College, Leopards coach Tim Sims said Thursday morning.
Timmons ranks among the team’s leaders with 13 RBIs for the 18-5 Leopards. He’s batting .277 as a senior this spring.
South Georgia College is a junior college program in Douglas, Ga. Timmons plans to sign with the school early next week.
