Hernando 1B/C Brooks Timmons has signed with South Georgia College.
He made his oral commitment official by signing with the Tigers during a ceremony Monday.
Timmons ranks among the Leopards’ leaders with 13 RBIs for 19-5 Hernando, a playoff hopeful in Class 5A, District 7.. He’s batting .277 as a senior this spring, after hitting .284 with 16 RBIs last season.
South Georgia College is a junior college program in Douglas, Ga.
