River Ridge QB Josh Maisel has orally committed to LaGrange College, his mother said.
Maisel, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound athlete, threw for eight touchdowns and 1,002 yards during his senior season. He also rushed for five TDs, ranked second on the team with 597 rushing yards and led the Royal Knights with 6.6 yards per carry.
Maisel was an honorable mention all-North Suncoast selection this fall.
LaGrange College is an NCAA Division III program in LaGrange, Ga.
