Freedom point guard Neena Pacholke, daughter of Patriots coach Laurie Pacholke, will join USF next fall as a preferred walk-on.
“Accepted to USF,” she said via her Twitter account Tuesday night. “GO BULLS!”
Pacholke averaged 3.0 points, 2.1 assists and a steal for the Patriots, who won both district and region championships before losing in the Class 7A semifinals.
Her role in Freedom’s offense decreased this year with the additions of senior transfers Faith Woodard, Monet Williams and Whitney Ivey. As a junior, Pacholke averaged 7.5 points on 58 percent shooting, including 57 percent from 3-point range.
