The signees are: quarterback Kyle Groh (Ohio Wesleyan), defensive end Kareem Martin (Lindenwood University in Missouri), defensive lineman-linebacker Eliel Shines (Seton Hill in Pennsylvania), defensive lineman Gage Stokes (Northeastern Oklahoma A&M) and receiver K.J. Walker (Averett University in Virginia).
In a February signing day ceremony, 10 Panthers signed with college football programs including Paris Bostick (Georgia), Tristan Cooper (Tulane) and Mitchell Wright (USF).
They were members of a team that went 10-2, winning the Class 8A-6 championship and subsequently losing in the Class 8A region semifinals to Orlando Dr. Phillips.
