Chamberlain rising senior DE Anthony Davis said Tuesday he has received a scholarship offer from Middle Tennessee, bringing his offer total to the double-digit stratosphere.
Currently deemed a three-star recruit by Rivals.com, Davis (5-foot-11, 215 pounds) said he also has been offered by Houston, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Texas Tech, Toledo, Tulane, USF and West Virginia. According to 247 Sports, he also has been offered by Michigan State.
Davis projects as a safety/outside linebacker in college.
In six games as a junior, Davis, who transferred from Ocala prior to the start of the 2012 season, registered 37 tackles, 3.5 sacks and three pass deflections.
