Palm Harbor University's Kevin Griffith will play baseball for the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.
Griffith signed a letter of intent at the school and will report to the Kings Point, N.Y., school on July 2. Griffith was a four-year member of the varsity team and hit .300 with four RBI and a triple.
The Merchant Marines are athletic members of NCAA Division III.
