Spring game-breakers: Junior quarterback Rob Tribolet threw for 139 yards and two long touchdowns. His first was a 36-yarder to Deangelo Reeves, the second a 78-yarder to Lionel Hart. …Reeves not only caught a touchdown, but ran for a 31-yard score in the second quarter. He finished with six carries for 77 yards. …Anthony Foster led all Green Devil runners with 79 yards on five carries. The biggest was a 65-yarder in the first quarter to start scoring for St. Petersburg. …Tavon Jones and Jaquel Waller had TD runs of 25 and 40 yards, respectively. …Sophomore kicker Parker Bryant has big shoes to fill with the graduation of UCLA-bound Sean Covington. But Bryant’s kickoffs reached the end zone and he made all PATs. Coach Joe Fabrizio heralded him as one of the game’s standouts. …Sarasota did have a bright spot in the loss. Marque Upshaw ran for 145 yards, including a 75-yard touchdown run.
