Plant City DE Sedrick King and ATH Landon Galloway, projected as the Raiders' starting quarterback this fall, committed to UCF while on the Knights' campus earlier today, Plant City defensive coordinator Greg Meyer announced.
The pair is part of the Raiders contingent competing in UCF's annual seven-on-seven tournament, which attracts dozens of teams from around the state.
King (6-foot-4, 220 pounds), whose athleticism enables him to slide from the edge to outside linebacker to safety, collected 35 tackles and five sacks as a junior. He also had offers from USF, Rutgers, West Virginia, Louisville and FIU, among others.
Galloway (6-2, 190), recovering from a dislocated shoulder that sidelined him for the spring jamboree, projects as a tight end/receiver for the Knights, Meyer said. A second-generation Raider, he led Plant City with 32 catches for 360 yards last fall.
