Gibbs graduate Trayvon Bromell followed up his victory in the 100 by finishing second in the 200 in 20.91 seconds Sunday at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals.

Unlike Saturday, there were no national titles for locals on the final day of competition. But there were several strong performances.

Hillsborough's Jorian Ordway was a runnerup in the 400 in 54.15 seconds, four-hundredths of a second faster than her victory in the event at the Golden South meet last month. Lakewood's Tim "TJ" Holmes, one of the nation's top hurdlers, was second in the 400 hurdles in 50.61 seconds,

Holmes also teamed with Shaquill Griffin, Shaquem Griffin and Lidell Golden on the 4x400 relay team that was fifth in 3:14.40. The Griffin twins paired with Jahaven Haye and Deandre Boykins on the 4x100 relay team that took third in 40.95.

The Terriers' Jeremiah Green, who won his second national title in the triple jump on Saturday, was fourth in the long jump (23-0.5)
