Gibbs wide receiver/defensive back Maurice Hall committed to UCF over the weekend, according to his Facebook page.
Hall, listed as a three-star recruit by 247Sports, had offers from six other schools, including Oklahoma, USF and West Virginia.
Hall missed most of last season after being shot in the right hip on Sept. 15. The bullet lodged near his stomach and colon and required surgery. In three games, Hall caught six passes for 152 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 16 tackles on defense, including two for losses.
UCF has become a popular choice among Pinellas County players. This past season, East Lake's Pete DiNovo and Lakewood's Shaquill and Shaquem Griffin all signed with the Knights.
