For the second time in less than two years, Tampa Prep basketball standout Casey Sanders has been arrested for driving under the influence in Tampa.
According to a Hillsborough County Sheriff's online arrest report, Sanders, 33, was arrested Saturday at 3:34 a.m. at 3400 MacDill Ave. S. on misdemeanor charges of DUI and driving with a canceled or suspended license.
The state's Mr. Basketball for 1999, he remains in jail on $750 bond, the report says.
A McDonald's prep All-American who later started for Duke's 2001 national title team, Sanders also was arrested on DUI charges in South Tampa in January 2012.
