Jesuit outfielder Kennie Taylor orally committed to Duke on Tuesday night, Tigers baseball coach Richie Warren said.
Taylor, a junior, had a .344 batting average last season, helping lead Jesuit to a 27-4 record and a final four berth.
Taylor is one of nine Tigers who have committed to a Division I baseball program and the fourth to commit to a North Carolina school, joining juniors Cole Gibbs (UNC), Bobby Hearn (Wake Forest) and senior Evan Cannan (High Point).
