St. Petersburg Catholic's Reilly Gibbons, who has had a successful season after transitioning from tight end to left tackle, picked up an offer from Miami on Wednesday afternoon.
Gibbons, a 6-foot-6, 272-pound junior, has a host of offers from BCS schools, but has impressed colleges this fall with his athleticism and size. Miami told Gibbons they liked what they've seen from him this season, and offered him a scholarship in a conference call with head coach Al Golden, Art Kehoe and Brennan Carroll.
Golden made the offer to Gibbons, the 22nd offer he has received.
Gibbons, who has been to camps at Miami but hopes to visit next fall for a game, is rated one of the top left tackles in Florida for the 2014 class.
The Barons have one game remaining this season, Friday against Calvary Christian.
