Gulf’s basketball program will host a benefit for the Rangel family from 6-10 p.m. Saturday.
All of the proceeds from the night of basketball will go to the family of former Bucs guard Tony Rangel, who was stabbed to death last week.
Admission is $5, and prizes will be awarded to the winners of the hot shot, 3-point and slam dunk competitions.
The event will also feature raffles and food.
Rangel was an honorable mention all-North Suncoast guard at Gulf as a senior in 2012.
