Land O'Lakes star defensive lineman Shaheed Salmon has committed to Central Arkansas.
"I am blessed to say I've commited to the University of Central Arkansas!! #GoBears," he announced on Twitter Tuesday night.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound player raked in 83 solo tackles, 21.5 for a loss, for the Gators this past season. He was named to the Times' all-Suncoast second team and all-North Suncoast first team and earned SAC honors.
Salmon picked up his first offer in December from South Dakota State. In addition to Central Arkansas, he added four more before making his final decision: Southwest Baptist, Alabama State, Jacksonville University and Wyoming.
Central Arkansas plays in the Southland Conference. The Bears went 7-5 last season.
