Records through Tuesday
1. Palm Harbor University (6-0): The undefeated Hurricanes are averaging 11 runs per game. They were ahead 9-6 in the fourth inning against Bradenton Manatee last week when the game was postponed because of rain.
2. Canterbury (4-0): The defending state champion Crusaders are ranked No. 1 in Class 2A and have allowed just one run. Today, they have their biggest test of the season against undefeated River Ridge.
3. Northeast (5-0): Victories against Countryside (7-6) and East Lake (1-0) moved the Vikings to the top of the Class 7A, District 9 standings.
4. Countryside (4-2): After losing a pair of one-run games to PHU and Northeast, the Cougars bounced back with a 3-1 win against Seminole.
5. Seminole (5-2): After starting 5-0, the Warhawks have lost two of their past three to fall to third in the 7A-9 district standings.
6. Dunedin (5-3): Big win against East Lake helped the Falcons get back on track after losses to East Lake, Seminole and River Ridge.
7. East Lake (3-3): The offense, which averaged eight runs per game during a 3-1 start, has scored a combined one run in losses to Dunedin and Northeast.
