Pinellas: Softball super 7, stats

Records through Tuesday:
1. Canterbury (8-4): Despite losing their past two games, the Crusaders remain at the top thanks to a 12-1 win over Class 8A, No. 2-ranked Miami Coral Reef at a tournament last week.
2. Palm Harbor University (12-3): At their tournament, the Hurricanes watched their undefeated streak against county opponents come to an end with a 3-2 loss to Northeast.
3. Countryside (13-4): The Cougars made the final of the Lady ’Canes Invitational before losing 12-1 to River Ridge. Today, Countryside hosts East Lake in a key Class 7A, District 9 matchup.
4. East Lake (10-5): The Eagles’ win streak came to an end with losses to Palm Harbor U. and Dunedin on the final day of the Lady ’Canes Invitational.
5. Northeast (10-4): After struggling the past two weeks, the Vikings turned it around at the Lady ’Canes Invitational with wins against East Bay, Dunedin and PHU.
6. Dunedin (10-5): The Falcons finished 2-2 at the Lady ’Canes Invitational, including their second loss this season to district foe River Ridge.
7. Seminole (9-6): The past week was rough for the Warhawks, who lost three straight to fall behind in the 7A-9 district race.
