A few quick recruiting notes:
Alonso DB Roosevelt Lawrence landed his biggest college offer so far. Wisconsin became the first BCS program to offer the 6-foot junior, the Ravens announced this week on Twitter.
Lawrence picked up an offer from Western Michigan earlier this week and also holds offers from Marshall and South Alabama.
He racked up 70 tackles, four interceptions and four fumble recoveries for the Ravens last fall.
Wisconsin has been actively recruiting Tampa Bay this week. East Bay DE Marques Ford and Clearwater Central Catholic QB Jeff Smith Jr. picked up offers from the Badgers. Ford, a three-star junior, also added an offer from Duke and took a recent visit to Rutgers.
Steinbrenner WR Kezio Snelling claimed his first offer Thursday, from South Alabama. As a junior, the 6-foot-1, three-star recruit finished with 35 catches for 556 yards and six touchdowns with 1,341 all-purpose yards.
