Winner gets: Orlando First Academy/Madison County winner in the state final at Orlando’s Citrus Bowl on Dec. 8 at 1 p.m.
Playoff history: University School is 7-4 all time in playoff games dating to 2007. Last season, the Suns lost 31-20 to Delray Beach American Heritage in the second round. CCC is 11-15 dating to 1976. Last season, the Marauders lost 13-10 to Fort Meade in the first round.
How they got here: University d. Cardinal Newman 27-0, d. American Heritage 34-17. CCC d. Frostproof 35-0, d. Tampa Catholic 10-7.
Who’s hot? University RB Jordan Scarlett dominated last week against American Heritage. The sophomore had 29 carries for 248 yards and three touchdowns. Senior QB Mike White has thrown for 1,590 yards, 18 touchdowns and has just two interceptions. …CCC junior RB Diquan Walker has gained 1,161 yards and scored a team-high 15 touchdowns. He had 155 yards against Tampa Catholic. Senior WR/DB Trey Larry had the play of the game against Tampa Catholic, scoring on a 54-yard pitch that tied the score. He gained 105 yards on just six carries.
Noteworthy: CCC senior RB/DB Mike Stevenson has been cleared to play after sustaining a concussion against Frostproof and missing last week’s game. Senior FB Domenic James is out with a knee injury and will be replaced by Ethan Thompson.
Did you know? The Marauders have not lost on their new field turf since it was installed prior to this season. …University has not lost a road game since last year vs. American Heritage.

East Lake (11-1) at Orlando Dr. Phillips (12-0), 7:30 Friday

Winner gets: Apopka/Neptune Beach Fletcher winner in the state semifinals Dec. 7.
Playoff history: East Lake is 6-12 all time dating to 1994. Last season, the Eagles lost 28-21 to Plant in overtime in the third round. Dr. Phillips is 9-11 dating to 1996. Last season, the Panthers lost 49-13 to Plant in the second round.
How they got here: East Lake d. Treasure Coast 31-20, d. Vero Beach 29-7. Dr. Phillips d. Wharton 28-15, d. Plant 24-7.
Who’s hot? East Lake junior RB Weston Fordham leads the team with 624 yards and nine touchdowns. He scored a rushing TD against Vero Beach. Senior LB Treyvon Levels was a menace against Vero Beach. He had a sack in the second quarter that caused a fumble and a touchdown. He is second on the team with 111 tackles. …Dr. Phillips senior RB Eric Harrell leads the Panthers with 1,325 rushing yards and 23 TDs. He recently committed to Bowling Green. Senior QB Alton Meeks has missed six games due to a broken fibula, but is now healthy and has thrown for 794 yards and eight touchdowns.
Noteworthy: Dr. Phillips had 26 tackles for loss against Plant last week. Safety Marcell Harris, who has orally committed to Florida, is questionable with a hyper-extended right knee. He has missed both playoff games. …East Lake, which has never advanced past the third round, enters the game injury free.
Did you know? Dr. Phillips is the Associated Press’ top-ranked team in Florida in Class 8A and is ranked 17th nationally by USA Today.
