Fans attending Tuesday night's Seffner Christian-Tampa Prep boys game got two milestones for the price of one.
Terrapins PG Josh Heath and Crusaders F Barrett Swartz both reached the 1,000-point mark for their respective careers in Tampa Prep's 68-33 victory. Heath led all scorers with 18; Swartz had 13.
Considering the setting, reaching the millenial plateau may have held a bit more meaning for Heath. Tuesday happened to be the Terrapins' senior night, and one of the evenings in which his dad -- USF coach Stan Heath -- was able to attend. Heath signed with the Bulls in November.
Swartz, a 6-foot-7 senior, entered Tuesday's game averaging a team-best 21 points. He averaged 15 as a junior.
