Records through Wednesday

Girls
1. Pasco (14-0):
Brianca Roberts and the Pirates keep cruising. Pasco has won all but one of its games by double figures.

2. Academy at the Lakes (16-2): The Wildcats are no longer perfect, but Tatiana Manuel, Andrea Mauger and the rest of AATL have no reason to worry.

3. Gulf (13-5): Jalena Hawkins and Lyndsey Hetrick have emerged as strong players, and Gulf has earned two very strong wins — close games over Ridgewood and Holy Names — this month.

4. Mitchell (11-7): Ashley Lewis and Hannah Kriston led a five-point win over River Ridge this week that solidified the Mustangs as the No. 2 team in District 6A-10.

5. Wiregrass Ranch (12-9): The balanced Bulls are sliding in district play but could make some noise in Pasco County by closing out the regular season with wins over Gulf and Land O’Lakes.

6. River Ridge (9-9): A two-game losing streak won’t get any easier. Tarpon Springs, Fivay and Ridgewood await, and none are area pushovers.

7. Fivay (11-8): The Falcons have learned from their early struggles. Keep an eye on Amber Taylor (15 points, 12 rebounds against Wesley Chapel).

Boys
1. Wesley Chapel (17-3):
If the Wildcats can get past Anclote on Friday, they’ll ride a seven-game win streak into an intriguing matchup against a strong Freedom team.

2. Wiregrass Ranch (13-4): Last week’s 22-point dismantling of Freedom was one of the Bulls’ most impressive victories to date.

3. Nature Coast (13-3): A low-scoring two-point win over Eustis gives Wyatt Hessler and the Sharks a sweep over the always strong Panthers and the inside track to the top seed in District 5A-7.

4. Mitchell (13-5): The first district loss of the season came Tuesday against rival River Ridge. How the Mustangs respond to it will tell a lot about their postseason hopes.

5. Hernando (11-4): The Leopards took a step forward by eking out a close win over Dunnellon — and a step back with a 20-point loss to Tavares.

6. Anclote (10-7): Few teams in Tampa Bay are as balanced as the Sharks. Seven players average between 4.7 and 10.1 points per game.

7. Ridgewood (11-8): A tumultuous week after the brawl at Gulf leaves an uncertain future for the Rams. A trip to the playoffs in District 5A-8 remains possible but got a lot tougher.
