Anclote LB Terrell Martin has orally committed to Black Hills State (S.D.), Sharks coach Matt Wicks announced Friday via Twitter.
Martin, a 5-foot-11, 185-pound senior, was one of Pasco County’s leading linebackers. He racked up almost 350 tackles over his four-year career for the Sharks.
As a senior, he ranked second on the team with 106 tackles to help transform one of the North Suncoast’s bottom feeders into a playoff team. He was an honorable mention selection to the Times’ all-North Suncoast and the all-Sunshine Athletic Conference teams.
Oral commitments are non-binding until recruits sign national letters of intent. National signing day is Wednesday.
The Yellow Jackets are an NCAA Division II program in Spearfish, S.D. and a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
