Two Sunlake football players have firmed up their college futures, Seahawks coach Bill Browning said Friday morning in an email.
C Aaron Protch has orally committed to Geneva College during a visit to the NCAA Division III school in Beaver Falls, Pa. The 5-foot-11, 260-pound Protch led Sunlake with 14 pancake blocks as a senior and earned first-team all-North Suncoast honors by plowing holes for the Seahawks’ 2,400 rushing yards.
OLB Brogan Ronske has orally committed to Butte College, a junior college in California. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound senior tallied 39 tackles and three sacks on defense and caught eight passes for 87 yards and a touchdown on offense.
