Tampa Bay Tech rising senior Tajee Fulwood has reeled in his biggest college scholarship offer yet: FloridaState.
Titans coach Jayson Roberts confirmed the offer Sunday.
Fulwood, one of TampaBay’s best and most versatile athletes, has generated lots of recruiting interest after a breakout junior season and a series of impressive performances with local 7-on-7 team Unsigned Preps.
He also has offers from Arizona, Louisville, Massachusetts, Rutgers and North Carolina Central.
The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Fulwood returned kicks, caught passes and ran the ball last season for Tampa Bay Tech, and is also one of the area’s top defensive backs. Fulwood caught 14 passes for 212 yards and a touchdown, intercepted three passes and defended seven more, and averaged 46 yards per kick returns.
As a sophomore at EastBay, Fulwood threw for 744 yards, ran for 690 and scored 13 touchdowns.
