Jesuit left-hander Hunter Van Horn has committed to LSU, according to coach Richie Warren.
Van Horn, a rising senior, went 3-0 with a 0.95 ERA with 24 strikeouts in 14.2 innings as a junior. He made two starts for the nationally ranked Tigers, who advanced to the state tournament for the fourth straight year.
The 6-foot-3 pitcher had previously committed to UCF in Oct. 2012.
He is poised to join a resurgent power in LSU, which is coming off a season where it tied a school and SEC record for wins (57), claimed an SEC West and conference tournament championships, and NCAA regional and super regional titles.
