HUDSON  — Andrew Medders, who coached Fivay to back-to-back district titles, stepped down Friday as the Falcons wrestling coach to take the same position at Camden County High School in Kingsland, Ga.

Medders will also serve as a firefighter in Camden County.

Fivay's first district and region titles in any sport were won by the wrestling program under Medders in 2012. He also coached Michael Hahn to state runnerup finishes in both 2011 and '12 in Lakeland.

Longtime assistant Matt Bullwinkel will take over as head coach. He won a state title at Ridgewood in 2004. He will be assisted by Michael Calafiore, who was a state champion in 2007 at Gulf.
