Robinson guard Cody Brown scored his 1,000th career point Friday. He scored 19 points in the Knights’ 63-62 overtime loss to Riverview.
The 6-foot senior captain has had a productive career at Robinson, averaging 12.2 points, 2.3 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game during his four years.
This winter, Brown has increased his scoring average to 17.8 points while grabbing 5.7 rebounds per game for the 3-3 Knights after coming back from a knee injury at the end of last season. Brown is shooting 50 percent from 3-point range and 77 percent from the free-throw line, and he scored a season-high 24 points in an opening loss to Freedom.
