A few quick recruiting updates from the last few days:
Former Wiregrass Ranch lineman Edmond Boateng orally committed to Arizona State, he announced on Twitter. Boateng – a 2012 Bulls alumnus – is a three-star defensive end at New Mexico Military Institute. The 6-foot-4, 270-pound had 19 tackles and two sacks this season. He chose the Sun Devils over Miami, USF and Arizona, among others.
Tampa Catholic LB Tre Watson orally committed to Illinois over the weekend. The 6-foot-2, 230-pound senior had 90 tackles and 8.5 sacks this season. The two-star prospect also held offers from USF and UCF, among others.
Pasco TE Bowman Archibald appears to be one of the winter’s top 2015 recruits. He’s added offers from Florida, USF and Tennessee in the last few days. His teammate, OL/DL Andrew Ivie, landed his first offer over the weekend, from USF. Ivie's the younger brother of Florida Gators defensive lineman Joey Ivie.
Ohio State and Vanderbilt are among the latest programs to offer a scholarship to Sickles star RB Ray Ray McCloud III.
Hernando LB Jeremiah Jackson picked up his latest offer, from Eastern Kentucky.
