1. Canterbury (6-2): The top-ranked team in Class 2A fared well over the weekend, beating Kissimmee Osceola 3-1 and losing 2-1 in nine innings to Class 7A, No. 2 Harmony. This weekend, the Crusaders will play in a Miami Gulliver Prep tournament.
2. Palm Harbor University (8-2): The losses came against 8A-8 opponents Sarasota Riverview and Bradenton Manatee, which puts the Hurricanes in third place in the four-team district.
3. East Lake (7-3): The Eagles won their only game this past week via forfeit against Largo. The schedule gets tougher, starting with the Palm Harbor University tournament this weekend.
4. Countryside (9-3): With wins against Pinellas Park and Northeast, the Cougars move into second place in the 7A-9 standings.
5. Seminole (9-4): Bounced back from loss to PHU with an 11-1 win against Clearwater last week.
6. Northeast (6-3): The Vikings snapped a three-game losing streak to 7A-9 opponents with a 5-4 win against Pinellas Park.
7. Dunedin (8-3): The Falcons are tied with River Ridge and Gulf at the top of the 5A-8 district standings.
