Bishop McLaughlin pitcher Andrew Duncan will sign to play baseball at Point Park University on Wednesday, Bishop dean of students Joe Jasinski said in an email.
Duncan, a 5-foot-11 senior, has already earned a save this season in one scoreless appearance. He has done well in travel ball, too, and threw a no-hitter over the summer.
Point Park University is an NAIA program in Pittsburgh.
Hurricanes quarterback RJ Perciavalle plans to sign with Washington and Lee University next week, Jasinski said. Perciavalle would become one of Bishop’s first football players to continue his playing career collegiately.
Perciavalle, a 5-foot-10 senior, threw for almost 4,500 yards for the Hurricanes. He finished his four-year career with 31 touchdowns and completed 55 percent of his passes. He also plays on the baseball team and holds a .235 batting average this spring.
Washington and Lee is an NCAA Division III program in Virginia.
