Rain cancelled Monday’s opening-round games at the Dunedin Spring and Steve Georgiadis Memorial (Seminole) tournaments. The tournament schedules moved back one day.

For the Dunedin tournament, Tuesday’s games will be Countryside vs. River Ridge and Pinellas Park vs. Osceola at 5 p.m.; Dunedin vs. Lakewood and Clearwater Central Catholic vs. Tarpon Springs at 8 p.m. The consolation games and championship game will now be played Saturday. All games are at Englebert Complex, which is used during the day by the Toronto Blue Jays minor-leaguers.

At the Georgiadis tournament, Tuesday’s games begin at 10 a.m. with Clearwater vs. St. Petersburg. Indian Rocks Christian vs. Seminole will start around noon. Seminole coach Jeff Pincus said they will try to squeeze in five games. “We’ll play until midnight if we have to,” Pincus said.

The championship game is still scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday.
