Three Tampa Bay players earned most valuable player honors at the Rivals Camp Series’ stop in Orlando over the weekend.
Five-star DE Byron Cowart (Armwood) was the MVP on the defensive line. That’s not exactly a surprise for Rivals’ No. 3 overall recruit in the country.
Sickles ATH Ray Ray McCloud III was named the top receiver. The four-star talent rushed for more than 2,300 yards as a junior, but the 5-foot-10, 170-pound athlete could play receiver or defensive back in college.
IMG senior Tyree St. Louis was the MVP for offensive linemen. The 6-foot-5, 300-pound St. Louis transferred to IMG from Tampa Bay Tech and holds offers from Florida and USC, among others.
In other recruiting news, Robinson senior ATH Jahrvis Davenport landed an offer from Ohio, the Knights announced Monday morning. He also holds offers from Marshall and Tulane.
