Steinbrenner’s Keshawn Ingram, Berkeley Prep’s Justin Gray and Tampa Prep’s Juwan Durham were among the top three players in their classifications in the state voting for the Florida Dairy Farmers Mr. Basketball.
Ingram, Hillsborough County’s leading scorer, was the runnerup in Class 7A, behind Oviedo’s Matt Milon.
Gray, a Texas Tech recruit, finished second in Class 4A, behind North Carolina commit Joel Berry II. Durham was third in 3A after leading the Terrapins to the state title game. Durham was the Times’ county player of the year.
Lennard coach Danny Gaddis finished third in coach of the year voting in 6A. Lakewood’ coach Anthony Lawrence (5A) and Tampa Prep’s Joe Fenlon (3A) were second in the voting. Berkeley Prep coach Bobby Reinhart was third in his class.
