The next Under Armour All-American Game could have a large local presence.
Nature Coast OL Christian Pellage became the latest area player to receive an invite to the prestigious high school all-star game, he announced Thursday night.
The 6-foot-7, 290-pound tackle is a four-star recruit. He holds offers from all of the major state schools, Ohio State and Alabama, among others. Rivals considers him the country’s No. 187 overall prospect.
Pellage is the second local player to receive an offer to play at the all-star game this week, after Tampa Bay Tech ATH Deon Cain. East Lake ATH George Campbell and Armwood DE Byron Cowart have already pledged to play in the event, which has been held at Tropicana Field each of the last five years.
