Academy at the Lakes softball coach Jerry English reached another milestone in his storied career.
The longtime North Suncoast coach earned his 500th win with the Wildcats’ 9-2 home victory over Clearwater Central Catholic on Thursday night. The former Land O’Lakes coach has been a fixture in Pasco County dugouts for almost 40 years and helped lead the Wildcats to the state semifinals last season.
