DUNEDIN — Osceola’s Ryan Allan completed a 22-yard heave into the end zone to Wilan Harvey on the final play of the game to shock Dunedin on its homecoming night. It was a defensive struggle most of the game with neither team reaching the end zone until the fourth. Osceola’s Zach Harvey kicked a 37-yard field goal for the only points of the first three quarters. The Falcons gained the lead in the middle of the fourth on a 24-yard TD pass from Argi Radani to Andrew Gordon.
Key drive: Osceola’s final possession nearly ended after one set of downs, but Nick Shytle’s 16-yard diving catch on fourth down kept it alive. Then on the next set of downs, a 15-yard personal-foul penalty on third and long got the ball into Dunedin territory. A 12-yard pass by Allan to Jamie Craske got the ball to the Dunedin 22, which set up the winner.
Plays of the game: Allan’s 22-yard TD to Harvey. Osceola also blocked a 38-yard field goal by Dunedin’s Dustin Rapp in the second quarter.
