Pasco ATH Janarion Grant is solidifying some recruiting plans.
The 5-foot-9, 165-pound senior has set up an official visit for Oklahoma State on Jan. 18. The Cowboys are among the schools showing the most interest in him in the last month, Grant said.
He also has set up a visit for Rutgers the next week after his trip to Stillwater, and he hopes to visit West Virginia, too.
One new addition to Grant’s recruitment: Kentucky. The Wildcats recently hired assistant Chad Scott from Texas Tech, and Scott had been recruiting Grant for the Red Raiders.
Grant said USF is still “on my radar,” although he hasn’t had a chance to speak with coach Willie Taggart since he was hired from Western Kentucky this month.
He added that he doesn’t plan to make a college decision until just before National Signing Day.
“Probably down to the wire,” Grant said.
Grant accounted for 20 touchdowns and scored five different ways during his senior season. His 77 career TDs are believed to be the most in North Suncoast history.

One more Pasco note: DE Morgan Flournory is beginning to receive some college interest, too. Jacksonville and Stetson are among the programs who have contacted the Pirates since his 22.5-sack senior season.
