Hernando LB Darren Hambrick is no longer committed to Missouri, the Leopards standout said Thursday in a text message.
Hambrick, a hard-hitting 6-foot-2, 215-pound senior, made a verbal commitment to Mizzou in September but said at the time that nothing was official.
Hambrick is making an official visit to Nebraska-Kearney today and is also setting one up for Kent State.
The two-star recruit and son of former Pasco, UF and NFL linebacker Darren Hambrick tallied 49 tackles and five sacks as a senior this fall. He helped lead Hernando to three consecutive playoff appearances for the first time in program history.
Hambrick holds offers from Kent State, Western Kentucky, UMass, Tennessee State, Alabama State and Bethune-Cookman.
