Recruiting has finally started to pick up for linebacker Terrell Martin. The Anclote senior earned his first college offer this week, from Black Hills State (S.D.) University, Sharks coach Matt Wicks announced Monday night via Twitter.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Martin was one of the North Suncoast’s top defensive players over his career. His 106 tackles this fall helped lead Anclote to a 6-5 record and the school’s first trip to the playoffs. Martin tallied more than 300 tackles in his four seasons while earning honorable mention all-North Suncoast honors from the Times and accolades from the Sunshine Athletic Conference.
Black Hills State is an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
