Gulf has named its three finalists for the school’s head football coaching position.
Ken Davis (Chamberlain), Mike Lube (Clearwater) and Jason Messamore (East Lake) are all still being considered by the Buccaneers, athletic director Travis DeWalt said Wednesday in an email.
“All three candidates possess extensive experience and interviewed extremely well,” DeWalt said. “We are excited about our three finalists and eagerly look forward to their second interview.”
The candidates are vying to replace Tom Carter, the longtime Land O’Lakes assistant who guided Gulf to a 2-18 record in two seasons as head coach.
