Carrollwood Day QB Vidal Woodruff, who passed for more than 1,600 yards in his only season with the Class 2A program, has received offers from Bethel (Kansas) College and Menlo College in Atherton, Calif., Coach Lane McLaughlin said.
Both are NAIA programs.
A Robinson High transfer, Woodruff completed nearly 62 percent of his passes (96-for-155) for 1,649 yards, 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions last fall. He also ran for 246 yards, leading the Patriots (10-2) to the second round of the 2A playoffs. As a junior at Robinson, he eventually moved into the starting role, throwing for 564 yards and 10 TDs and helping direct the Knights to a 9-3 mark.
Menlo finished 4-6 last season, Bethel 0-10.
