Class 2A, District 9 semifinals: At Tampa Catholic, top-seeded Berkeley Prep (12-10-2) got goals from four players, and a shutout from keeper Ben Milliken, in a 4-0 rout of No. 4-seeded Clearwater Central Catholic. Tyler Sacone, Connor Castro, Warren Backman and Will Sibson scored for Berkeley.
In the nightcap, No. 3-seeded St. Petersburg Catholic pulled off a mild upset with a 2-1 victory against host TC (13-2-2). The Barons face Berkeley in Friday’s 7 p.m. final at Tampa Catholic.

Thomas Dziagwa, Tampa Catholic. The freshman scored a career-best 21 — including five 3-pointers — in the Crusader boys’ 92-60 rout of St. Petersburg Catholic.
Alexandra Daley, Tampa Prep. The Terrapins’ captain notched her second hat trick of the season in a 4-2 region quarterfinal win against Bradenton St. Stephen’s. All three of Daley’s goals came in the first 15 minutes.
Corey Salzer, Berkeley Prep. The 5-foot-7 Bucs senior had a season-high 28 in her team’s 49-33 win against Canterbury.
Jonathan Jean, East Bay. The Indians’ sleek sophomore point guard scored a game-high 26 and had the assist on Anton Crutcher’s winning basket with 3.4 seconds to go in a 74-73 victory against Armwood.
