Plant OL Jake Fruhmorgen has committed to play in the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Bowl, the game announced Monday evening.
The 6-foot-5, 280-pound junior is one of the state’s top recruits for the class of 2015. The four-star prospect counts Florida, Florida State, Miami and Notre Dame among his more than two dozen scholarship offers.
Rivals and 247Sports both consider Fruhmorgen a four-star recruit and among the country’s top 70 overall prospects in his class. He’ll be at least the third Panther to play in the game – James Wilder Jr. participated in the 2011 game, and Aaron Murray played in 2009.
Two other Tampa Bay players have committed to play in all-star games next season. Armwood five-star DE Byron Cowart and East Lake five-star ATH George Campbell have both agreed to play in the Under Armour All-America Game.
